Toruń has a rich night life and numerous bars and clubs most of which are within easy walking distance in the old city. In the academic year there are around 30,000 students in Toruń adding to the atmosphere.

Places stay open till around 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning and some stay open until you leave. A wide variety of concerts, festivals and events are also held.

During the day chill out and watch the world go by at the riverside, in the many parks, or in the cafe gardens which spring up during the summer months.
